For Aberdeen Retailers

E-Commerce Web Design
in Aberdeen.

E-commerce web design in Aberdeen comes down to one thing: building a shop that actually sells.

Most Shopify themes look fine on the surface but quietly leak conversions at every step — slow product pages, awkward checkouts, no trust signals. Ours close them. Built for the customer with a card in one hand and a thumb on the back button.

Old way vs new way

Most online shops are quietly leaking sales. Here's the fix.

Same products. Same prices. Same Google traffic. Different shop. The gap between a Shopify theme that "looks fine" and a store that actually converts is usually four or five well-placed details.

The old way

The theme that looks fine. And nothing more.

  • Off-the-shelf Shopify theme — same look as 50,000 other shops.
  • Three-step checkout with delivery surprises at the last screen.
  • Product pages with stock photos, no reviews, no atmosphere.
  • Mobile load times of 5+ seconds — most carts gone before paint.
  • A growing pile of paid apps to plaster over the gaps.
Our way

A shop built specifically to sell.

  • Custom design — built around your products and your brand.
  • Single-screen checkout with delivery clear from step one.
  • Product pages with real photos, live reviews, and trust badges.
  • Loads in under 2 seconds on mobile — even on patchy 4G.
  • Built-in, not bolted on — fewer apps, fewer monthly bills.

Sell more, per visitor.

More traffic is one way to grow. The cheaper way is to sell more to the traffic you already get. Every product page, every cart screen, every checkout step on our builds is designed for one outcome — a finished order.

  • Single-screen checkout with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna
  • Trust signals — live reviews, secure-pay badges, return policy
  • Smart upsells & cart recovery — no shouty pop-ups

"Daniel listened to our requirements and, incorporating the changes we wanted and his own suggestions, made our new website much easier to use. He used the photographs we provided plus new ones he suggested to round out the information available. His attention to detail made this an easy process."

Common questions

Got a question? Likely answered.

What Aberdeen retailers ask on the first call, most of the time. If yours isn't here, just ring.

Do you only build on Shopify?

No. We build on Shopify, WooCommerce, and fully custom — depending on what fits your situation best. On the first call we'll talk through the trade-offs (monthly cost, control, flexibility, app ecosystem) and recommend honestly. Most North-East retailers end up on Shopify; some need WooCommerce; a few want bespoke.

Can you migrate my existing store?

Yes — Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Etsy. We'll migrate your products, customers, orders, and any existing Google rankings, then swap your domain on launch day. There's no downtime, no broken product URLs, and your customers won't notice anything but a better-looking shop.

Do you cover my area?

We're based in Aberdeen and work across the North-East — Aberdeen, Inverurie, Stonehaven, Westhill, Peterhead, Banchory, Ellon, Fraserburgh, and beyond. For e-commerce that's mostly about local SEO and meet-up logistics; the shop itself sells everywhere. Browse the location pages to see what we mean.

How long does the build take?

Around 21 days for most e-commerce builds — a week longer than a standard small-business site because there's more to wire up (products, shipping, payments, taxes, schema). Faster if you have tight launch dates; slower if you've got 800 SKUs to migrate.

Will I own the shop?

Yes — with one honest caveat. On a custom or WooCommerce build, you own the lot outright. On a Shopify build, you own the design, customisations, and content, but Shopify takes a monthly platform fee for the hosted shop itself. We'll talk through which path actually saves you money over five years on the first call.

How does payment processing work?

Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Shop Pay all supported out of the box. We'll get them set up for you and run a handful of test transactions before launch. Fees come straight from the processor — we don't take a cut.

What about ongoing changes after launch?

Day-to-day product changes — new items, prices, photos, sales — you handle yourself in seconds. Bigger changes (new sections, new integrations, design tweaks) get a quote up front. Most clients take our website maintenance plan, which covers updates, security and a monthly improvement.
