For Aberdeen Businesses

Website Maintenance
in Aberdeen.

Website maintenance in Aberdeen done by someone you can actually email. Not a ticketing system. Not a chatbot. A real human who knows your site.

Most businesses pay separately for hosting, then again for SSL, then again when a plugin breaks, then a chunk to a developer to fix it. I bundle the lot for one predictable monthly fee — and quietly, the site just stays up.

Old way vs new way

Stop paying five companies to keep one website running.

A website is a small business with its own quiet bills. We add them up, take them on, and drop one predictable invoice in your inbox each month. No surprises.

The old way

Five bills, three vendors, no answers.

  • Hosting bill from one company, SSL from another.
  • Developer who built it three years ago, now unreachable.
  • Plugins out of date because nobody knows which ones break.
  • No backups, no monitoring — you find out it's down when a customer rings.
  • Every small change is a "quote-on-request" job — so you stop asking.
Our way

One fee. One team. Site just works.

  • Hosting, SSL, monitoring, backups — all in one bill.
  • A real local team on email — replies usually within the hour.
  • Plugins, themes, core — all kept current, tested before pushing.
  • 24/7 uptime monitoring — if it goes down, we know first.
  • Small tweaks included — phone number changes, opening hours, photo swaps.

City we call home
Value 01 · Always on

Always up. Always fast. Always watched.

We ping your site every 60 seconds from three different locations. If anything's off — slow page, broken link, 500 error — we know before you do and most of the time we've fixed it before a customer notices. The 0.03% that does fail gets the on-call email at 3am.

  • 24/7 uptime monitoring from three global locations
  • Page-speed checks weekly — kept under 2 seconds on mobile
  • Broken-link scanning monthly — nothing goes 404 unnoticed

The boring bits, handled.

SSL renewals, plugin updates, daily backups, malware scans, brute- force protection, GDPR cookie compliance. The stuff that costs nothing in time when it works — and costs you a week and a five- figure bill when it doesn't. We just keep it working.

  • Daily off-site backups with 30-day rolling history
  • Plugin & core updates applied weekly, tested before live
  • Web Application Firewall + malware scanning, 24/7
Value 03 · Small fixes, included

"Just email us." That's the whole system.

Phone number changed. Christmas hours need a banner. Photo of the team needs swapping. A typo someone spotted. The small things that most agencies bill at "minimum 1-hour" rates — we just do. Reply usually within the hour, done by end of day.

  • Up to 1 hour of small tweaks per month, included in every plan
  • Direct email line — no ticket queues, no chatbots, no escalation
  • Bigger jobs quoted up front — no surprises on the next invoice

How it works

From "who looks after my site?" to "I haven't thought about it."

Four steps. No downtime, no migration nightmare. Handover typically takes a week, and within a month or two you'll forget the website exists.

1

Site audit

Current setup checked — hosting, SSL, security, speed, plugins, backups, broken links. Urgent issues catalogued and a clean migration plan drafted before anything moves.

Day 1
2

We take it over

Migrate hosting (if needed), install monitoring + backups, fix the urgent stuff from the audit. No downtime, no broken links.

Day 2–4
3

You email when needed

Phone number change, Christmas banner, opening hour update — one email and it's done. Usually before lunch. Bigger jobs get a quote up front.

Ongoing
4

Continuous monitoring

Daily backups verified. Weekly updates tested + applied. 24/7 uptime monitoring. Malware scans, SSL renewals, firewall watch. The background work that keeps the site quietly running.

Common questions

Got a question? Likely answered.

What Aberdeen business owners ask on the first call about maintenance. If yours isn't here, just ring.

What's actually included in the monthly fee?

Hosting on UK servers, SSL certificate, 24/7 uptime monitoring, weekly speed checks, daily off-site backups (30-day rolling), plugin/core updates, malware scanning + firewall, and up to one hour of small fixes per month. Bigger jobs are quoted separately so there are no surprise invoices.

I already have hosting. Do I have to move?

No. If you'd rather stay on your current host (e.g. you've prepaid a multi-year deal, or you're happy with where you are), I'll just adjust the plan accordingly and look after everything else. Migrations are included if you do want to move — no downtime, no broken links.

How quickly do you respond when something breaks?

Critical issues (site down, payments broken) — within the hour, usually faster because monitoring catches it before you do. Small tweaks — same day or first thing the next morning.

What kinds of sites do you maintain?

Mostly WordPress and custom builds, but I'll happily take over most platforms if it's well-built — WooCommerce, Shopify, and Squarespace included. Whether it was built by you, a freelancer, or another agency, I'll tell you straight on our first chat if anything needs to change before maintenance makes sense.

Do you cover my area?

We're based in Aberdeen and look after sites right across the North-East — Aberdeen, Inverurie, Stonehaven, Westhill, Peterhead, Banchory, Ellon, Fraserburgh and beyond. Maintenance is mostly remote anyway, but it's good to know we can drop in for a coffee if something needs talking through. Browse the location pages for what we cover.

What if I want to cancel?

No minimum, no long contracts — cancel any time with 30 days' notice. When you do leave, I'll hand back hosting, backups, and access in working order. No holding your site hostage. That's the whole deal.

What if a fix is bigger than "small"?

We'll quote it up front — flat fee, no hourly billing surprises. New page, new section, integration with another tool, a redesign of the homepage — you'll know the number before we start. Most requests stay within the included monthly hour anyway.
